John Passed! and Family Time

Just a short note to let everyone know that John passed his thesis defense!!  He did such a great job! One of his professors for the project got sick the day of and just told him to "count him as a signature" for passing!

It is such a relief that he is done! It was touch-and-go there for a while on whether he would finish it or not.  He doesn't really need the master's title for his job with Patriot or for the work in Africa. The main reason he went back to school was so that he could learn about renewable and sustainable energy in order to help third world African countries.

After John finished, the next day John and I drove to Parker, AZ to spend some time with his family.  We had a great time!  John's cousin Lori made us two delicious Mexican dinners.  She also had 2 darling helpers...

John and Genaro (our brother-in-law) helped his mom put up some lights in the living room before they get new carpet.
