You are wrong about his mischievous look. The look is actually a "determined" look portrayed by any man with a new found tool in his hand. In this case, Aden knows what he possesses is the well known differential transfer pump which is occasionally misused for kitchen purposes. It is obvious to me he wants to head outside to top off the Toyota axle with 90 weight gear oil.
