How a Toddler Packs a Suitcase

Today John has already left us for two weeks to the states. To be honest, I'm not looking forward to spending 14 days as a single parent. I did 4 days last week while John was deepening a well in Ronurie and it was harder than I thought! We spent three weeks apart in March but I had the ease of first world comforts and two grandparents that were very helpful!

Right now I'm meditating on the verse (and accompanying song) Psalm 118:24

This is the day
This is the day
That the Lord has made
That the Lord has made
Let us rejoice
Let us rejoice
And be glad in it
And be glad in it

And this is what Aden packed in his suitcase because he really wanted to go with Daddy.

Includes: preschool workbook, five paw patrol figurines (for his cousins Ada and Henry to play with), adult toothbrush, two bubble wands, a magic cup, a non functioning lantern, and a dirty sock.

Aden also wrote John a little note that I'll post once John finds it hidden in his suitcase.  (And John here's a hint to its locale if you read this: You'll definitely find it by Sunday if not earlier)
